Born and raised on a hobby farm in rural central MN, I’ve always had a strong bond with nature and experienced a sense of awe and curiosity about Earth’s creatures and plants, especially birds. Nature journaling has become a means to ‘collect’ the birds I observe around me, whether in my Minneapolis backyard or traveling near and far. They provide endless inspiration for creativity and leave me yearning to learn more about each bird I encounter.
