In my pollinator garden and sanctuary are host plants for the eastern black swallowtail butterfly. This image
captures a black swallowtail shortly after emerging from its chrysalis. It posed for this photo-session for what
seemed like a very long time. Once the image was captured, it was manipulated in post processing to render
this artistic version. Some see the eyes of a butterfly predator. What do you see?
