J Arthur Anderson has spent the past three decades “bearing witness.”  His work documents the state of our society and of the planet. J Arthur’s focus extends from wildlife (and the environment) to photojournalism, checking in with both to assess where we are at existentially.   How are the Big Horned Sheep, Sage Grouse, or Calypso Orchids doing?  And, is our polarized society unraveling?  

His goal is to have each image tell the full story without the need of captions or additional explanation.
